Whilst food and the environment are my core themes, I wear several hats!
First is my role as CEO of f3, the local food consultants. This is a co-operative of some of the UK’s leading innovators and practitioners in the local food sector. f3 has been set up since 1999 and we’ve carried out over 200 research and feasibility projects, mainly for public and third sector clients.
I’m involved in several food projects in Cardiff – for example as Chair of RCMA (voted S. Wales’ best social enterprise) running 5 farmers’ markets and community initiatives; and a founding director of Riverside Market Garden ( True Taste Gold award for local food) a community-owned horticulture enterprise.
I am one of the enterprise advisors for the Making Local Food Work Big Lottery programme and have just completed an ILM Level 5 course in Social Enterprise Support.
